Mitchel G. Katz, MD FAAP - ADHD & Autism Spectrum Disorder Specialist

Connecticut & Gulf Coast ADHD Associates Founder and Medical Director

Dr. Katz is a board certified ADHD physician who has been in practice for greater than 20 years. He received his undergraduate degree from Bucknell University and his medical degree from Loyola University of Chicago. He received his residency training at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. He is a past Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics at Middlesex Hospital. He is on staff as an attending physician at:

  • Connecticut Children's Medical Center - Hartford, CT
  • Hartford Hospital - Hartford, CT
  • Lakewood Ranch Medcal Center - Lakewood Ranch, FL
  • Manatee Memorial Hospital - Bradenton, FL

Dr. Katz currently holds an academic appointment as Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. Dr. Katz has received additional subspeciality training at Massachusetts General Hospital as well as Mt. Sinai School of Medicine in NYC. He is a frequent lecturer on ADHD, ASDs, andother developmental and behavioral issues. Dr. Katz currently holds a full and unrestricted medical license in the states of Connecticut and Florida


Dian Riley- Practice Manager

Dian has been working with Dr. Katz for the past twenty years. She is well versed in all operations of the practice
and will be able to answer all your questions, She deals specifially with billing and insurance issues

Carol Bunndegard & April Chansouk - Receptionists

Carol and April will most leikely be the person you first speak to when you call the office. They can answer most questions, make initial and followup appointment and direct your call if need be

Gianel Nanni - Testing Coordinator

Gianel is the person that handles sending out ordered tests and collecting completing testing. She makes sure that all required testing is completed for Dr. Katz to score and review and integrat the results with the clinical history
